In the years between 1961 and 1967, Rabbi Rosenberg had the privilege of being a participant in the Lubavitch yeshivas’ choir, where he was a  frequent soloist. It was there that he received his religious and secular education.

In the years 1971- 1976 , he performed as Chazzan for the High Holidays at various Chabad Houses in  the suburbs of Detroit Michigan. Then in 1976 he was Chazzan for the High Holidays in Burlington, Vermont.

In 1978, Rabbi Rosenberg moved to Miami Beach, Florida where he assumed the position of Chazzan for the High Holidays in the local Chabad shul. Later that year, he assumed the position of full time Chazzan at congregation Ohev Shalom in Miami Beach under the spiritual leadership of Rabbi Pinchas Weberman. He held the position from 1978 until 1986, when he relocated to Montreal together with his family.

That summer, Rabbi Rosenberg assumed the position of Chazzan Sheinie at the Beth Zion congregation of Cote St. Luc, under the spiritual leadership of Rabbi Sidney Shoham.

In the summer of 2010 he was promoted to the position of Chazzan as well.

Rabbi Rosenberg retired in 2017 after 30 years dedicated to Beth Zion.
